Collection of cheese, oil, olive tins; aluminum drink cans, and various waste metal kitchenware
Sort at source operations and metal wastes collected from industrial establishments and obtained from LHSV recycling project.
Separation and recovery of metal packaging wastes
Turkey offers a wide variety of opportunities for metal recovery. But the lack of facilities which are specialized in this field, the process should be carried out through present facilities. Thus, instead of making investments for a metal recovery facility, Yόceler has been working in cooperation with solution partners.
Waste metals in our facilities are directed and sent to suitable recovery facilities.

Recyclable items:
Aluminum drink cans, steel food cans; oil, cheese and olive boxes; kitchenware (fork, knife, saucepan, teapot)
Non-recyclable items:
Paint, deodorant, motor oil, grease and varnish boxes
Recovery of 1 ton of aluminum means,
95% decrease in energy consumption
90% decrease in air pollution
97% decrease in water pollution
a serious decrease in the consumption of bauxite, which is the raw material of aluminum.
(4 tons bauxite is needed to produce 1 ton aluminum)
Processing
Aluminum, which is separated from other materials at the facilities, is put in a hot furnace and heated so as to get rid of paint, moisture and impurities. After the removal of paint and coating, waste metal is put in another furnace specially designed for this step and heated up to 700 CΊ for ingot casting.
Heated aluminum is stirred to melt completely. Melted aluminum is accumulated at the base and poured into molds. After various technical operations, aluminum becomes ready for the production of packages and other materials. |
